Nice execution from Kuraly there. Quick Xs and Os breakdown: Dallas shows exactly how NOT to play a 3v2 defensively. Raffl needs to hustle to get back, so Seguin needs to skate with Werenski to cut that option off, while Heiskanen should shade over to Texier to take that pass away. Force Kuraly, a historically lower percentage regular season shooter, to take that shot and be confident that Holtby makes that stop. At least that's how I would play it defensively. Some textbook, puck watching mistakes lead to an easy tap in, cannot fault Holtby there.
