  1. Slafkovsky needs to play with two hands on his stick and his stick on the ice.
He won't score many with one hand on his stick.

  2. If he plays 82 games he will score at least 25 goals. There will be pressure on the organization to justify his draft position so he will get the ice time.

  3. I'd be impressed if he reached their expectations points wise. What I want to see is his defensive game improving. If he can develop into a 200 ft type player, in the long run, that would be a huge win, imo.

  4. Nice projection by ESPN, depends on Slaf though. Whether he earns and is ready for more minutes with better players, a consistent spot with line-mates, keeping is head up…maybe lack of toi minutes was partly due to this lung capacity thing affecting endurance and focus. Does his game grow with last season's experience and this off season training? Dunno, let the kid play if last year's issues persist further development training is needed. ESPN's projection seems a bit of a reach but could be possible, ya never know.

  5. We all know Slafkowsky did not deserve to be in the NHL last year. By far Owen Beck deserved that spot. But Owen was not first overall. Slaf was not NHL fit, Not NHL Strong. He was a boy playing in a mans league. He should have been allowed to dominate in the OHL.

Now I have said before on this Channel that Slaf had the worst numbers for a Number 1 OVERALL pick since Joe Thornton.

How did Joe Thornton do in his 2nd year—- 16 Goals 25 Assists for 41 Points

That is my Target for Mr. Slafkovsky

    16 BUTS 25 Assistes pour 41 Pointes

    Lets go Slaf—– Lets see!!!!!

    Allez Allez
