He’s big, he’s poised, he moves so effortlessly. I can’t wait to see him get more starts and have a young developing goalie under Curtis Sanfield.
I can see him being the goalie of the future, if not the present.

This seems a bit pessimistic – he was *elite* in starts last season. If you look at GSAA/60 with a minimum of 5 games, he was second in the league. He then came into the playoffs and performed well there too – looked a lot better than Samsonov.
I know it’s a small sample but his style doesn’t seem to work on flukey big saves – just solid, and in control. Maybe I’m about to learn a hard lesson about the predictability of goalies.
