[Andy & Rono] We have to say we like Filip Chytil from the New York Rangers a lot. He’s very good two-way center & we believe he has a potential to have a break-out season this year. He just needs higher TOI. In two, three years he could be the best center on the Rangers.

That tweet hit our 3 cope talking points
1. Has potential
2. Will breakout
3. Just needs more TOI
I’ve said it every time, Chytil is the best of the kids rn and I feel he’s flying under a lot of fans radar cause they’re so obsessed with “is Kakko/Laf finally gone be worth it this year?”
I have to say, I also like Filip Chytil from the New York Rangers a lot.
He was on the best even strength producers/60 on the team with shitty line mates for much of the season. He’s a stud
He looked more confident and less tentative this past season, I think his above average 2022 playoffs helped build up the mental side of the game for him
Happy bday to the Rangers’ future 1C #ChytilMania
Honestly, the dude has already broken out. Most people have just missed it. Over the last 3 years, his 5v5 offensive comparable are players like Eichel and Svechnikov.
(G/60, A/60, primaryA/60, P/60)
Eichel (1.03, 1.03, 0.57, 2.07
Chytil (0.89, 1.18, 0.75, 2.07
Svechnikov (0.90, 1.17, 0.74, 2.07)
He needs more power play time and he needs to be given full opportunity on 2nd line.
Trochek is truly a 3rd line center and should be playing there.
I think a blind person who’s never listened to a game could say those words.. more game time and he will play better. Wow groundbreaking stuff here
