Awesome video! You’re absolutely right when you say detroit hasn’t had a player like Kane in a long time. Kane brings a boost in the PP and can teach players like Raymond and Berggren a thing or two. 1-2yrs on a contract with the red wings would be a huge move! I still believe he can be a 70pt player if he can stay healthy playing with the right players

As we’ve seen during the offseason Yzerman doesn’t like giving out a lot of long term contracts. So honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Kane came to Detroit on a one or two year deal, and we have the cap space to afford Kane. Love to see it happen though! Always liked Patrick Kane.

WIngs are a good choice. If Wings dont make the playoffs he's a great asset at the deadline and if the Wings DO make the playoffs they could be a problem.

Dude, none of the contenders you listed have cap space to sign kane.
Only 6-7 teams currently have more than 2.5 million in cap space, of those 7, detroit and buffalo are the only teams expected to be competitive.
I find it funny, even the so called experts do this, everytime a notable player is available they start throwing out possible teams. Colorado, Edmonton, Florida etc. Just completely ignoring the salary caps of these teams.
How is Edmonton signing kane when they are currently 200 000 $ over the cap?? They need to find a way to be cap compliant by opening night just with their current roster, let alone trying to add.

Odd that the "projected lines" graphic had Kane and DeBrincat on different lines. Wouldn't the point of Kane coming to Detroit be to play on the same line as DeBrincat?

I personally hope he just stops playing. We seem to forget this guy was in a leadership role during the kyle beach incident. People try to say " how would he have known", but people in the marketing part of the front office have said they knew. And if you are a crazy person who dosent feel anything for Kyle Beach, remember that all the people keeping their mouths shut led to that man getting a job at a high school and assaulting children. That should be a bigger part of the Kane/ Toews Era legacy then it ever will be unfortunately…

Wtf man! Larkin is a star. I don’t know if you read the stats but he pretty much point per game with no help. His line mates consisted of washer David Perron, kubalik, and sophomore slump Raymond. Perron was second in points barely over 50 points. If Larkin had higher quality wingers he would be a 90 point lock.
I think if Kane comes to the Wings this team could surprise people. Larkin is a great player but just has never had that good a team around him, and Kane and DeBrincat could help with that for sure.

I like this. Don’t know why organizations don’t see chemistry as a good thing on and off ice between line mates. They say it’s the one guy carrying the successful pair. If this is true kane is probably still mad about losing the bread man to go to battle
Would be funny to see Kane in Detroit and turn around and just start destroying everything in his path. Don't think a lot of people have money on that scenario however…I would absolutely love it
