  1. as a flyers fan i’m really excited the way this team is going, however i’m slightly concerned about gauthier not going to either development camp but at the same time i understand. hoping he could be a good scoring winger for us along side michkov

  2. Michkov- Gauthier- Foerster has a chance of being a dominant line in the NHL in 2026. If things break right… it’ll be a nice era in Philly soon.

  3. To be honest, prior to last year's draft I was so disappointed Shane Wright didn't drop one more slot to pick 5 but much to my shock & dismay one year later I would NOT consider trading Gauthier for Wright because of the promise he has shown the past calendar year!!! Along with Michkov, the Flyer's prospect pool looks immensely better with Cutter and also the potential for a top 5 pick in this upcoming draft coupled with Florida's 1st rounder which we can estimate to be 11-20 !!! Along with their current crop of promising young players (Frost, Farabee, Foerster, Andrae, Cates, etc) the future is looking very bright for Philly!!!

  4. I don't think gauthier was a center when he was drafted and is still questionably a center when he goes pro.

I think it's wild how close his trajectory maps to will smith. Both were well liked players going into the season, though i think where smith was around 10-15 gauthier was projected around 15-20. Both just stayed the course all year and gave nobody a reason to do anything but elevate them.

The result was both were taken at about the same spot in their draft years despite both being extremely different players.

Just a pointless observation 😅. Your tagline is gibberish!

  5. I wanted David Jiricek last year, but had Gauthier second because the more I watched, the more I saw he has the will to dominate the game in all three zones. He's brutal on the boards & crashes the net, but it was his speed that sold me. He can close gaps very quickly. And then there's that shot with the quick & deceptive release. So, I'm not surprised he's developing so well. All credit to Brent Flahr & his staff. They have been very effective identifying talent. Oliver Bonk is this year's prime example. He's going to be a beast.
