Proper slotting requires a Pinto signing. Much like missing Norris it will really hurt playoff chances, don’t you think?
Joseph HAS to go. Pinto signs for $2M. Batherson slides up and down 2nd/3rd line RW as needed (he has to be better this season).
Putting the Brady, Norris, Batherson line back together makes a lot of sense. It will help Norris get back to form a lot quicker. Put Tarasenko with the best center and the veteran Giroux on RW and you best ensure his success. We can't afford to spend the first 20 games trying to figure out what works.
Wouldn''t mind seeing Greig-Pinto-Kubalik assuming Joseph is out the door.
Rather have Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson
Tarasenko-Stutzle-Giroux.
That would hopefully get Norris going and also the wingers can dish from there forehand(s).
