  1. I’d be gets signed the boys better not drop the soap in that locker room😂😂😂😂

  2. I can't see how you wouldn't at least be curious about a Kane, Larkin, Debrincat line. What's the harm on a 1 year deal?

  3. I read that he was skating only three weeks after the surgery and considers himself ahead of schedule, which originally was said to be around the new year, so he might be ready by November or December.

  4. I don’t see how it makes sense to commit our $5.1 million of open cap space to Kane before we know what’s available at the trade deadline. Kane won’t be ready for action until December or January, so timing wise it wouldn’t be the best. What if we could potentially make a trade for a guy like Travis Konecny from Philly if we are in playoff contention and extend him? Or make a trade like New Jersey did last year with Meier for a younger guy that plays the right way and fits our timeline?

I think Kane would only make sense if we couldn’t make something work at the deadline for a player we wanted and therefore decide to wait until free agency/off season.

Then at that point, if we’re in contention, go ahead and sign him for the rest of the year at $3 or $4 million.

Other than that, I don’t see Yzerman wasting that cap space early before seeing what his options are. He also wants the flexibility of that $8 million of cap space he’ll have next year (that’s including extensions for our RFA’s), so if Kane is seeking anything more than a year, then it will be a non starter.

  5. Detroit's Hay Day we had all the best Players late in there careers! They all wanted to come here and it bread a winning attitude and multiple cups! If they wanna come here take em. Passing on Kane is ludicris in the situation we are in now! Nothing to loose at all. All upside!!!
