Let me know your expectations for the Sabres this season
Quinn is out until January
I watch out for Buffalo thus year maybe a upgrade in the goalie spot and they are a playoff team
Young, getting much better, close last year, think they can make it this year…Been too long!
Nice report. Quinn did hurt himself in off season.
Big things brewing in B-town
Sabres make playoffs gets to 2nd round. Levi is the REAL DEAL.
would help to tandem Levy with Hellebuyck goaltenders?
trade forward prospects for second pair defenseman?
I think they did indeed "move the needle" by simply getting a year older / more experienced. It looks like there's 13 players that are under 27 years, so you expect most to improve (may be some backsliding for a couple). That's all we need to "move the needle". If Levi is solid and Clifton is serviceable paired with Power, then that should be enough to move them into the playoff. Lots can happen to prevent that, but I feel good about the team as it stands and they should move forward with what they have without hurting their prospect pool for a top 4 D or veteran goaltender to play with Levi as a 1A/1B tandem.
