  1. Vegas won this trade IMO after 3 years, Suzuki isnt really a good player IMO, habs need Eichel.

  2. I think the Habs inched put the win on this trade for the sole reason that Patches wouldn’t have done as well as he has in the last couple of seasons if he had stayed with the Habs. I think Suzuki would have done well with the VGK (just like he has woth the Habs). So from that perspective, the Habs are better off now than they would have been had there not been a trade.

  3. It was a WIN-WIN but the Habs won much more. Right now, Vegas wouldn’t trade Suzuki for Paccioretty. Centers over wingers, everyday.

  4. It’s all about the pieces. Tatar has matched what patch was producing. Suzuki has the full package and youth on his side and a prospect could become a regular. That’s a win for habs just because of the multiple pieces but great trade for patch and Vegas since he has been an integral part of their success. Excellent trade, near perfect.

  5. Mtl = winner you'll see , max will want out of Vegas one day like in Montreal. And Suzuki will shine for a long time in a habs uniform…

  6. This was just an all-around great trade where both teams got the pieces of the puzzle that they needed, while giving away ones they didn't need

  7. im not sure but i think Montreal def won because they are in the stanley cup finals lol
