listen man, the reality is that any offers they're getting for Lindholm , Hanifin and Backlund are all lowball. The rest of the league knows that the Flames are not in a position of strength in trying to deal these guys right now. That's exactly how you dismantle a team (trading good players for scraps), and there's no guarantee that tearing it down completely will make you a Stanley Cup contender in x number of years. You have to show some patience, and have the balls to make those trades even if you're in a playoff spot at the trade deadline.
The "Routing" of the Canadian hockey franchises needs to be put to a halt. We are becoming second tier teams !

Calgary’s front office is just recycled trash. No one new came in to help this team. Assistant coach becomes head coach, whatever Conroy was to GM. Seems to be a repeat of Jim FairPlay. The organization didn’t even recognize Theo Fleury when they listed the top five captains in franchise history. They threw in Piplinski when he never wore the C for a whole season. Such a joke!
