Re: Michkov….. he's still a kid and has great potential BUT these benchings could really mess with his head and confidence similar to Shane Wright. It's too bad the kid isn't playing in the Flyers system NOW but I realize he's committed to his KHL team for a couple more years. It'll be interesting to see how that kid develops.
Re: Nylander trade to Blues….not gonna happen…..Leafs would lose that trade BIGTIME!!!! Doesn't make much sense to me. Leafs are in WIN NOW mode and that trade doesn't make Leafs better NOW.
Switch Kyrou to left wing since he has played on the left side before Thomas at center and Nylander on right wing would be a pretty heavy top line for the Blues. I hope Army can shake up the blue line before the season starts. If he pulls this off I will literally never say another bad thing about him lol. I don't think the Leafs will end up doing this though. Only time will tell.

By the end of the month, nylander would have been going to 10 different teams. These trade rumors are beyond ridiculous already. I’d rather just settle for hockey news you do instead of these nonsense trade rumors every day.

Interesting trade rumour regarding Nylander to the Blues—I, personally, would hang on to Jake Neighbors and let him develop with Thomas and Kyrou and the other Blues youngsters and play for the next few seasons.
I hate to admit itnly but as A blues fan i barely remember Del Zotto playimg for us i mostly recall him as a ranger i certainly don't recall him getting any serious ice time on that cup team he had to of been injured if he was on the team
I’m done with Lindholm, trade him. He’s a good player, he’s no superstar, and Cgy can’t afford to over pay another player.
I have seen Parayko play like an elite defenseman. Neighbors is a solid young player and a first. As a Blues fan, I am not so sure I would do this. I wonder if Parayko is just going to be this guy, if he stays here. It is not like this is a no brainer, either way
Nylander trade would only happen if Bertuzzi and Knies play really well. Then you trade for younger prospects and picks. You get under the cap and pick up guys at the deadline. The regular season means nothing and you do not lose him for nothing. Bertuzzi/Domi only one year deal so you could resign Willy next year when or if the cap goes up a lot. Someone has to go to get cap compliant. Lets see how well Nylander plays on a team without Mathews or Tavares. Maybe his asking price goes down next year.

I think that trade proposal actually makes good sense for both sides. Yeah the value may not quite be there for the Leafs but it’s close enough and addresses needs. Nylander has not shown commitment (all just meaningless talk) and Treliving has surely learned his lesson from Johnny Gaudreau walking away for nothing.
Pareyko has some size and seems like the kind of dman Treliving would target.
The first rounder could come in handy at the trade deadline to plug holes.
Only hole I see is in this trade proposal is it doesn’t fully address the Leafs cap problems for this season. They’d still have to shed some salary in another deal.
It would be nice if Pareyko came retained in this deal.

The longer they wait, the worst return they'll get for Nylander… unless they wait for the deadline to trade.. but then they have that distraction of the media asking him about contract status every day during the season
