As the 2020 NHL Entry Draft approaches, we’ll be taking some time today to talk a little bit about one of the top NHL prospects. It’s Quinton Byfield’s turn in the spotlight, as we focus on a radio interview he did with TSN 1200 on Ottawa radio.
In this interview, Byfield goes over the feelings leading up to the 2020 NHL Draft, and his different interviews that he’d done with both the LA Kings, and the Ottawa Senators.
We’ll also be talking about Tim Stützle as well, since he has a very important role in this kind of discussion.

Just like you said. The Stutzle to LA crowd has been predominantly from Ottawa. Vilardi Stutzle < Byfield Vilardi. Byfield also isn’t ready for the NHL, giving LA time to make moves and sort out their roster. No way would they have him make the team and be a 3C.
Only way Stutzle or Byfield slip past pick #3 is they get seriously injured before the NHL draft on October 9th.

I don't see Lafreniere, Byfield, or Stuzle slipping past 3. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall draft positions are locks.

Great video LEGO! As a Kings fan, I was originally hoping they would draft Stutzle. But now I am torn and think that Byfield has the bigger upside and may be the better pick. The Kings have a great scouting team and I trust that they will pick the best player. Kings fans should be happy with either player. Keep up the great work LEGO! As a Sens fan I'm almost completely impartial to the pick. Either player would be a huge win. I'm actually happy we're picking 3rd. Give Blake and the Kings the tough choice and make the easy one at 3.

The Rangers should offer this yrs one(laffrienere) & a package to buffalo for jack eichel. Prolly would have to part with kreider in that deal for cap. Eichel, zibs, breadman, buchnevich, kakko, chytil, would be pretty good.

I'm an Ottawa fan, and I keep flip flopping who I want, which I guess means I'd be pretty happy about either. The main thing is I feel like who they get at 3 will determine the direction they go at with 5. I think if they get Stutzle, I'm almost certain they take Rossi if he's available. If it's Byfield, I feel like Raymond or one of the 2 Dmen is their guy.
If we can also have Rossi at 5, I want Stützle. If we can’t, I want Byfield. I say “we” because as far as I’m concerned, in my own mind, I basically own the team.

as a kings fan i think Tim Stutzle fits into the LA lineup a bit better then Byfield but I do think both of them have great upside and a lot of potential
TBH as a Sens fan I don't really care have 2 picks in the top 5 so either or the Sens are making some serious progression in the rebuild. And saying the Byfield is going to L.A more likely they always had Big guys
I want Byfield in L.A. I think the guy is going to be a beast of a player.

The ideal thing I want as a sens fan is stuzle at 3 and rossi at 5. It just makes sense and that’s two really good forwards that fans like that will probably be fan favourites in a few years. But if byfield is chosen at 3, I’m not too sure what Dorion will pick at 5. I just hope it’s a good one

Kings are goingto pick Byfield, they may have a ton of centers already, but all a center is, is a offensive player with a little more skill down low, you can easily slide centers to the wing positions so LA is taking byfield
