Pinto contract should be pretty simple mot sure the holdup maybe term Pinto looking for a longer term deal or on a Joseph trade for cap space but idk just hoping it's done before camp and when Andlauer officially takes over he gets some pressure on Dorion to make sure it's done before the start of camp
I know it’s kinda ridiculous, but isn’t it entirely possible that a bunch of stars could sign team friendly contracts and make a dynasty team? Not saying it would work so easy, but just imaging a bunch of MacKinnon contracts on one team. 🤷🏻♂️

Hope that the PWHL draft would not be complitely "prenegotiated" picks of players which would continue this trend of "nationalism" :). Some BPA picks would be nice to see there too.

Just a heads up jersey-wise, the Charlotte Checkers just released an online presale of their 2024 AHL Outdoor Classic jerseys. It's a throwback to their 50's/70's design and looks pretty sweet. (Caution Shannon, it's a word mark)

The Maple Leafs are wizards at managing the salary cap. It'll be interesting to see what difference Dubas made in that process, but I expect some wild and wacky cap circumvention before the puck drops on this season.
At least Wilson ain't their capologist.

Imagine if the Jets had a different GM who could weaponize his remaining cap to improve our Right Defence by cherry picking a player off a cap strapped team? Or being aggressively proactive and offering Pinto $$$ to sign with the Jets thus softening the likely loss of Scheifele this year?
Watched Noah gregor in prince Albert when he played in the whl. He was pretty good then just goes to show the levels of ice hockey
