Kevin Poulin has retired. Many people thought Poulin was going to be the next big thing in net for the Islanders when he was first called up based on how he played in a small sample size. Maybe they would have been right if not for the freak injury that took him out. I’ll always remember him for his great dane that he brought on road trips.

Feels like yesterday when Patrick Roy was doting over Poulin. Glad we have our goalie now though!
