The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 – September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Iga Swiatek claimed the men’s and women’s singles titles. It was both players’ first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. 1. Mind blowing. 🤯
Only 17 years old. Just wow. 💪 One of the ones to keep an eye on for sure. Huge talent alert ⚠️ 🔥

  2. Followed Mensik a lot on the challenger tour… he’s even better on Clay. Kid is special

  3. Only 17 but very level-headed and mature in Interviews. Let’s see how he develops. Impossible to predict at this stage, but looks like he has great potential.

  4. what a gift before turning 18 on friday, being able to play in the main court next round, I hope he will keep making progress like this

  5. 17??? What an athlete! Huge first serve already. Future top 10 if he develops mental game and they manage his work load to protect from injuries

  6. Funny thing is.. he got beaten by Kuzuhara in January's junior Aussie open.. and look where are they now.. 8months ago.. Mensik is playing against the top level players at the biggest stage and Kuzuhara struggles at Futures
I know it doesn't mean anything but it's very interesting how players develop differently
