Episode 66: Habs 2023-24: Time for Progression?

In this episode, we discuss…

Dave is back and he does not miss a beat. We debate whether or not the Habs would be better off finishing in the bottom 5 again or progress in the standings. If they stay healthy, are they actually a bottom 5 team? The NHL pre-season is around the corner. Is the pre-season too long? Who are some possible stand outs for the pre-season that may earn a chance at playing the first 10 games of the NHL season. Does Slafkovsky progress this year? If so, what could his points totals look like?

  1. I think bottom 5 would be best but I think with all the young guys they have now finish in the low teens would be best as they have a lot trade chips too get a top 6 player later

  2. I agree with Matt that dach was under pressure last year too prove he belongs and the differant positions he played and players that his confidence should be high and I expect him too take another step this year.

  3. Vito is 100% correct, the rebuild is in its early stages and we can’t stop now, the habs NEED another top 5 pick at the very least!

  4. Don't forget we have alot of assets that could be,and probably will be traded away for picks, and or prospect's count on it 🤔
