Maybe something to Novak, but Hartman? The guy is a penalty machine. Also have to realize that BUF and MIN are geared up for theoretically big seasons and playoff contention, so these players are likely not going anywhere.

Not impressed with any of those suggestions. But if the Flames need to replace Lindholm there won’t be anyone available that equals his quality.

To a certain extent, Calgary could probably survive with the following center depth chart:
1. Kadri 2. Backlund 3. Dube 4. Ruzicka 5. Zary
For this to work the Flames would likely need to pick up a talented winger or two. This group can likely handle the defensive matchups but would struggle to carry the offensive side of the game without help.
