    I'll be honest, I like Devon Toews a lot but he's going to be 27 soon, and I don't know how much more of a ceiling he has. He's only played a grand total of 116 NHL games, and I think that sample size is an issue. Don't get me wrong, $4.1 mil per is pretty good but I frankly think he is really closer to $2.5 million.

    If the Islanders strike out on getting a top line guy to play with Barzal, they might want to consider giving Ho-Sang a shot somewhere in the lineup. Depth is good, and he IS good……just that everyone disagrees with how good he really is.

    Excited to see how Avs will look in 1-2 years. In my eyes this can be the best defense ever to play club hockey. Relatively, absolute, any circumstance or condition you want. No guarantees ofc. Wonder when the day comes when D. Toews commands a higher value than J. Toews.
    Interesting to see Lapierre, this could be a huge pick for Caps. Skyline? Why? Why not a giant barbeque steak, riding on a green cowboy boot, infront of a giant star that crashes into a stick-rack?

    The veteran's, if they want to leave, I don't think anybody would be upset about that. They should go realistically if they want to win sooner rather than later, I might cry if I see one of them win a cup again even if it's on another team.

    I think this is an overpayment for Toews. He is almost 27 and has only played 116 games. He had a good playoff run but he’s drafted 108th overall and didn’t come into the league until 25 years old. Graves also is unproven. He’s also a 4th round draft pick and has a good plus minus but underwhelming in the playoffs. Honestly I think Tampa and Carolina have better defence cores . Carolina has three guys in their prime in Hamilton, Pesce and slavin that have all been top 20 for the Norris trophy for multiple years straight. Hamilton and Slavin were 7th and 5th for the Norris trophy this year. Totally underrated defence

    I think that for a sky line to be really good on a jersey you've got to have a notable sky line or notable structures like New York,Seattle,San Francisco,St Louis,LA

    Sweet Texas Stars jersey. I'll be interested to see how the next AHL season shapes up. I didn't think too highly of Toews and recently has proven doubters such as myself wrong.

    Chicago has 3 fringe backup goalies with the miraculous hope that one of them with somehow turn into a starter.

    Cant think of a worse goalie situation in years.
