    When OV was winning scoring titles and was -25 the Caps had a first round exit ever year! The year the Caps won the cup OV had what 32 goals and was +15 or so! Winnipeg will not win unit Mark figures it out!
    PLD is the number 1 center on this team!

    Every game it's apparent how smart and how amazing a player Paul Stastny is. If the Jets don't resign him it's a huge mistake. He'd make a great coach after his career is over too.

    1. Connor PLD Ehlers
    2. If can't trade wheeler FA or whoever with
    Perfetti and try and sign guys who are older to help teach youth like Pavelski,Dustin Brown, or other 30s Fa.
    3. Stastny Lowry Svechnikov
    4. Appleton Vesalainen there's like 4 depth centers Brooks,Harkens,Barron,Gustavsson.

    Dman
    1. Morrissey 2.Pionk
    3. Heinola 4. Dillion
    5. 6. Samberg
    7. Chisholm 8.
    Maybe bring in older dman FA to like Staal or other guys

    Goalies obviously Connor H
    And don't bring back Comrie get older stable goalie Reimer,Holtby,Halak,Cory Schneider,Greiss.

    Try and trade away scheifele
    Wheeler,demelo,Schmidt if keep Schmidt get rid of pionk or Morrissey. And try and rebuild let youth get in lineup and have older guys teach show how to be pro.
    Try and get picks if you could get a top 5-10 pick by trading Morrisey pionk scheifele wheeler or whoever could get a top 6 forward or 2 dman like Simon Nemec,Cooley,Savoie and later 1st take Geekie.

    You also have to take into account city… Taxes like we need guys like Stastny, or past winners Dustin Brown,Giroux,Edler,Giordano,or even Ladd. people who been there done it. As for forwards there is alot available FA.

    It's cold here and when drafting we should try and bring people who from Western Canada or Europe or people who understand for what province lacks fans and people here will remember if your like Lowry or stay here. If you have to get convinced like Schmidt maybe not best.

    The idea that they have to hire somebody with ties to Winnipeg is ludicrous to me. They need to stop making the safe play and hiring “a friend of the show” . Hopefully Chevy has the autonomy and insight to at least step outside the comfort zone. Schief’s comments reeked of entitlement and I believe they have to trade him. His above the law attitude has been a sideshow for some time now and sets a real poor example!!

    I've always felt, but especially in the last few seasons, that the central core of the team – especially the Wheeler/Sheifele dynamic – has been toxic… really since the 2018 Wheeler-Chiarot dust-up… there's something really high school about those two

    time for young superstars take on greater leadership roles

    get a veteran netminder to helper helleybuck

    trade Wheeler and Pionk to Dallas for Klingberg

    and trade Schieffle to Avalanche for S. Girard

    strengthen defense

    bring in Babcock or Tortorella

    change the culture of entitlement to competitiveness

    do whatever it takes to keep Lowry. solid power forward

    Pierre Luc Dubois. You need to keep this guy. Ehlers is another key piece. And finally Connor's the last piece. Keep the three of them together. Scheifele isn't going anywhere. He's the leader of this team. Especially when Wheeler retires. As long as we have Hellebuyck. We'll be just fine thank you. Let's go Jets!!

    Arniel likely has the inside track. To hear Carlyle's name even mentioned blows me away. No way they need a dinosaur. That guy Quinn from the Rangers might be worth thinking about. Did a decent job with a rebuilding team. Don't think Tocchet's style would fit with type of roster Jets have. Scheifele has to go asap, but they need to sign Dubois first, sooner the better. Wheeler should go as well, but no team going to touch that ridiculous contract.

    There's no transparency from the Jet's upper management. The fish always rots from the head down. If there are problems in the dressing room, that is not where it's starting.
