Stephenson, Hague hit Cousins – Have your say!

Chandler Stephenson appeared to crosscheck Nick Cousins from behind just as Nicolas Hague also attempted a hit on Cousins. There was no penalty on the play. Tough Call will be reviewing the incident. Have your say!

  1. Numbers all the way, hit from behind, crosscheck, and a push. Cousins should've stayed down and hammed it up like Barbashev did when Staal crosschecked him. But alas, the Vegas angels can do no wrong.

  2. Cousins is in for a long series. Take a swing at my goalie….this is what you get pilgrim

  3. I just have a hard time trusting anything coming from Las Vegas……
Or going through Vegas on a work trip!
    Referees!

  4. Stephenson should have been assessed a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct. That looked really dangerous.

  5. domi got ejected for a hit way cleaner i want to know the contracts vegas have with the refs how many years and how much per year because its like the 20th time vegas get a bad call in their favor seriously NO CALL?

  6. I'm not a Homer for either team. Stephenson got lucky here, I wouldn't have called Hague. Cousins turned to avoid Hague and then got lined up as a result. My guess is, the refs didn't call Stephenson due to Cousins making the change in direction once Stephenson was closing in.

  7. 2 min charging on Hague because he left his feet to make contact, and for Stephenson is 2 for cross checking and 2 for boarding. If it was in the regular season he should get a 1 game suspension for the intent to injury Cousins.

  8. we really need a "let's go, gary" for obvious bad calls. i was rooting for florida, and seeing as they lost i want to blame the refs, league, anybody besides all the horrible turnovers…

  9. I thought this was a dangerous and dirty hit when I saw it live. Seeing it it again two days later my opinion is the same. No dog in this fight, either.

  10. Intent to injure was there. Major penalty. The refs were busy busy looking for 10 minute misconducts on Florida.
