Round 3 of the AMA @IRCTireUSAMoto Motoclimb Super Series stopped at the Motorcycle Hill Climb Capital of the World, for the South Hills Showdown. Hosted by the @BillingsmotorcycleclubUsMt, this event took place the day after the club’s Nighttime Hillclimb race. The beginning of this video shows shots from that race the night before the MSS race.
The race started off with the Pro Mod class, where @austinteyler rode a Lloyd’s Performance KTM 550 to the top step, with @logancipala895 and Logan Mead sharing the podium. In the Pro Stock class, @austinteyler won the qualifier on his Suzuki RM-Z450, and ended up winning the Pro Stock Main as well. @logancipala895 finished in second with his @gasgasmotos MC450, and Logan Mead finished third on his @KTM 450 SX-F. In the Pro Open Class, “The Machine” was dominate yet again on his @buellmotorcycle2661 1190 HCR with another Open Class win. @austinteyler took his 20+ year old Suzuki Bandit to the 2nd place spot, with Logan Mead finishing third on his @KTM 1290.
With Cipala and Teyler both sharing the same amount of points in the Pro Stock and Pro Open classes, it was Cipala who ended up breaking the tiebreaker with his win in the Open Class.

Does the champion win the Darwin Award? Sponsored by the National Spinal Cord Injury Association. I've been a card carrying member for the last 48 years and rolling along in my wheelchair.
