He’s been out of the nhl for a few years now but he does still play in the top Czech league. He’s probably in better physical shape now than he was at the beginning of his career.
Jagr is now 51 years old and playing for his home town team in czech. Hes also the owner of the team!
His longevity and passion is amazing.
They mentioned his team mate Mario Lemieux in that video. Lemieux is considered the 2nd greatest player ever behind Gretzky. Lemieux was plagued by injuries and illness in his career. You gotta check out Mario Lemieux
If you judge by the total points. You will think that Jagr was a better player than Mario Lemieux. And that would be incorrect. Well at leash in my view. Just for me… I think Mario was the best of all times. Offensively. But again.. if you judge by points alone. That is just wrong. Look at Basketball. Micheal Jordan to me is the best of all times.. But then again he isn't first in points.
