Since the Leafs have trouble scoring in the playoffs, sure.
Sure for Lafferty's money..but really the focus needs to be on improving the D between now and the trade deadline. As currently constructed this D isn't going far in the playoffs

I think the Leafs first priority should be a big defenseman. They had one and let him go, twice. Schenn. That's on the physical side. On the offensive defenseman side, they have enough. We'll see how Klingberg works out, but I'll say at least he shoots the puck from the point. We haven't seen one of those in a while. In regards to Kane, he couldn't hurt. As long as he's on a minimum deal, like Spezza took. Otherwise, pass. They already have enough firepower on forward.
Kane is another subban, not worth the disruption on the team.
Didnβt Kane already say that he would never play for the Leafs? And yes a big name defenseman is more important!
