  1. I think I must have jinxed him. I got his jersey (with the Johnny Canuck logo) at the beginning of the season, and now the guy can't score.

  2. Brock Boeser: Inconsistent

    Elias Pettersson: Mentally checked out

Tanner Pearson: Bottom six forward, playing top six minutes

    Jason Dickinson: Who?

Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Past his prime, slowly regressing

Tyler Myers: 6 million dollar pylon

Tucker Poolman: Cheaper pylon than Myers.

If you honestly think that the Canucks are a few pieces away from being a contender… you're completely delusional. You don't win cups with multiple, underperforming contracts on the team. I know the excuses and insults are coming, but what I said isn't far from the truth.

  3. If you are going to talk about the most unlucky player in the world you should talk about jeff skinner, he gets robbed every game and he honestly deserves a hatty almost every game he plays for the amount of chances he gets, the worst thing is that he did nothing wrong on those chances he just flat out gets robbed by a highlight of the game save. If he had no bad luck at all and never played under ralph krueger he would still be a 40 point guy mark my words. And i know every player gets bad luck every once in a while but he gets unlucky every game.

  4. I'm not a Canucks fan but I am a Pettersson fan. You guys and girls would know better than me but this is so weird. We all know he has the talent to compete for a Hart trophy but he just doesn't seem focused. I wonder how much the Coof has affected him personally. Certainly he hasn't just forgotten how to play at a high level. If you even considered a trade, you would be selling low on him now. I'd much rather be seeing videos about him making those insane plays he used to do.

  5. Can wait when we have bedard, wright, and nemec. will prob then get pettey back on track playing on a line with one of those generational center. We will prob have at least 2-3 playera getting 100+ points each season then

  6. the canucks are failing 'are they good enough test' with flying colours… yes, we can now see they are not good enough, which means they need to rebuild properly… i think everyone is game for the trading block, except maybe hughes…

  7. Petey was almost out of his slump and then the two long lay offs caused him to start thinking again, and he isn't the only one either. The whole team went back to their Green thinking days and have got right back into the same mode they were in when all the firings started. This game was much better for most of the team except for a few players, especially Petey. He really has to stop thinking out there, it has nothing to do with luck just thinking. The Canes put on a clinic on how to play the game, that is get right on your man and don't let him breath. The Canucks are so far away from the point men in their own zone they get picked apart every time. That is same old same old Green structure and it doesn't work. Check out the Canes stats and you will find they are the best defensive team in the league with the best goal differential. That wins hockey games. There is nothing wrong with this team but they have to play a pressure game to be successful. They started that with the coach change but with two long layoffs they slipped back into their old habits, although this game was much better. The difference was the Canes were on their game today and the results speak for themselves. I was a bit worried after the last four disastrous games but this game was much more encouraging, they played way better but couldn't match the Canes defensive structural prowess.

  8. He needs to get off video games and social media and hit the gym

  9. Stanley Cups? HA! Keep on dreamin'! Pettersson isn't plagued with bad luck. He's just a bad player. Giving the puck away every time he touches it has nothing to do with luck. I'll gladly take $7 million from the Canucks to do just as bad as EP! And if it happened, I'd call it wonderful luck!

  10. The Canucks either need to get Petey a great sports psychologist, if they don't have one or fire the one they have cause Petey is broken and they need to fix him
