Fantasy Dynasty Forecast: Time to Target Cooley, Sanderson, Boldy & Others

The fantasy hockey dynasty crystal ball is out in full force on Friday’s episode as Flip and Steele serve up analysis on some of their favourite young pieces of fantasy hockey talent that fantasy hockey GMs are going to need to keep their eyes on both for impact this season as well as beyond.

We break down the likes of a few pieces who might still be a season or so away from making a real fantasy impact this year, with the likes of Dallas Stars mini man on the rise in Logan Stankoven, the goalie of the future in Nashville with Predators rising star Yaroslav Askarov, and also Detroit Red Wings rugged blue liner in Simon Edvinsson.

In terms of impact-ready fantasy hockey pieces you need this season, that includes the likes of Ottawa Senators recently signed D-man Jake Sanderson, Matt Boldy of the Minnesota Wild and of course Quinton Byfield of the L.A. Kings and even Lukas Reichel of the Chicago Blackhawks who will get a good shot alongside super rookie Connor Bedard.

  1. Matt Boldy is a monster & I hate being the guy to 💩 on prospects but I live on Long Island and Wahlstrom is the most overhyped prospect in the Tri-state area. The Islanders are going to get fraud checked this year IMO because they didn’t acquire any new players & the teams average age is 30 years old!

  2. Absolutely agree with your Logan Cooley take, between him and Barrett Hayton that is some serious center depth for years to come in Arizona. Really looking forward to seeing how teams like the Coyotes and the Bluejackets do this year, playoffs highly unlikely, but they should be very exciting teams with tons of young talent and potential. Have a great weekend boys!

  3. I need help, very tough decisions here lol
    Keeper League: keeping Crosby, Stutzle.
Need 1 more from these 3… Montour, Larkin, Stamkos.
    Normal banger settings with +/-
Do I keep Montour as my PPP QB or find another in draft. Please, need help lol

  4. You guys should highlight Gustav Forsling in the Draft as a later round pick, he should have a ton of opportunity on Florida’s offence with Ekblad and Montour both being out to start the year
