  1. On Pinto discussion I still think he can be a 2C here and Norris could slide onto the wing into more of a sniper roll with 1 timers on the rush idk if the Sens would do it but once Giroux and Tarasenko are gone and 1 or 2 years down the road I could see Pinto moving up and Norris sliding over or vice versa both have great shots and could be good wingers for off the rush shots as well as being defensively responsible on the 2nd line which would be very good and important

  2. This might be one of maybe the worst theory’s out there ever lol pinto doesn’t have a contract because he’s not taking less then a million.

  3. I dont know what leverage Pintos agent thinks he has. He's played a little over 1 season. That's it. He still needs to prove consistency which he hasn't.

  4. I dont think Andlaeur gets rid of anyone unless the season start off badly.. he'll for sure add some people tonthe front off ice in the meantime and do an overhaul next summer if needed

  5. Sens are getting very close to taking the same kind of big step in the standings that the Devils did last year

  6. I don’t actually think that PD’s mistake was signing Senko before Pinto, it was signing Branny first. At $2M plus the $800k they have left now, that is easily enough to sign Pinto to a 1 year contract. Don’t get me wrong, loved watching Branny this year, but if you’re talking having a third line centre who just scored 20 goals or Branny I would take Pinto in a heartbeat. Plus Branny was still an RFA so it’s not like they would’ve lost him for nothing, they could’ve still negotiated.

  7. I wouldn't take Hugues or Hischier ahead of Stuzle. I think Stutzle is equal to Hugues based on career progression. I would take Ottawa's third line, but a very close call.

  8. Yeah part of me also worries the uncertainty around batherson is why a trade hasn't been made. They might just not be sure what is going to happen and if you trade say a Joseph and then bath does also get suspended, oof boy are you all of a sudden in a bad spot. So it might not even be they think he's going to be suspended but they want that clarity and aren't willing to take that chance just in case

  9. I still prefer stutzle over Hughes.

    NJ had a 2 x 1st overall picks in 3 years.

NJ is a good team but they got lucky with their picks.

Let’s hope the Sens can get in the playoffs this season
