Brownie is very deserving of the US hall, 2nd American captain to win the cup, 1st two time, retired the all time hit leader (admittedly skewed by when it became a stat and how they're counted but still), but I will disagree with one thing Dustin Brown was an elite captain who personified what it means to be a captain, especially when it was taken away
(Edit) something to think about unless something has happened since I last heard Bob Miller, a Foster Hewitt award recipient (Hockey Hall of Fame) is not in the US Hockey Hall of Fame

Yeah, pretty much what i said about loosing against a top seed in 7 in R1, that was a stretch, and would definitely be the least successful scenario of the 3 i listed.
Hockey HOFers on the Kings…..Quick, Doughty and Kopi. Agree that Dustin falls just outside that.
For me, making the playoffs is a successful season.
On Danaults line vs Dubois. It is dictated by minutes.
Danault and Kopi's lines have proved they can match up with any teams top 6. Dubois with Fiala creates a 3rd pair scoring potential few teams can match.
Using Dubois head to head against other teams top lines means Danaults line takes those 3rd line match ups. Theoretically Dubois and Fiala would be more of a scoring threat against their bottom 6 than Danaults line would.
Just my thoughts on it.
