The first captain of Jets 2.0 was a real beaut. Led by example, particularly when it came to embracing the move from Atlanta. You always remember your first! Cheers to your retirement, Captain Ladd!

Poor guy. His career was hanging on by a thread before the ink even dried on his contract in New York. Add that to some tough injuries, and his career didn’t have the send off it deserved
Wishing him a happy retirement though

God speed sir, you got your rings captain. Time to rest

I hope he can enjoy his retirement to the fullest. I still remember him coming to Wpg on his own after the move was announced. He was about as good a captain as you could ask for during those early years.

Adjusted for inflation $80 million USD in earnings. 1,001 games, 550 points, 2 cups. The guy did alright.
Horrible end to his career, but overall, as good of a run you can ask for.

Can we still sign him for a day?
