Gopher Hockey Stuns North Dakota in Frozen Four with Last Second Goal

http://www.GopherSports.com Justin Holl unleashed euphoric reactions across the entire state of Minnesota by scoring an unlikely shorthanded goal with less than a second remaining in Thursday night’s Frozen Four semifinal against long-time rival North Dakota to give Minnesota a 2-1 victory and a berth in the National Championship game, the 12th in program history.

  1. Badgers went to the final 4 and I didn't c any car burning or violence in Madison, why r the gopher fans so stupid burning cars , property etc… ?????????????

  2. it was a lucky goal by a guy that hadn't scored all year. they got out played and just got completely lucky

  3. Coaches always say play to the last second because things like this happen. You can see that we (ND) stopped playing towards the last seconds. Which allowed Minnesota who didn't stop fighting score. It what we deserved for stopping. But thats okay because we're in the final four this year and Minnesota lost to Duluth.

  4. Wilcox played a fucking phenomenal game. If the Gophers could actually keep players for 4 years, maybe they'd actually win a championship again..

  5. I was watching this game at my good friend's house, when Justin Holl scored that half-second short handed goal I flew up in the air and my can of Pepsi went all over the carpet lol, the rest of that night was spent reminiscing about what a memorable game it was while I scrubbed the carpeting relentlessly with the Bissell carpet scrubber until the soda stain was completely gone lol, great memories!

  6. As a gopher fan I dislike the soiux and badgers very much but when it comes to hockey all 3 programs are great ,,very competitive I miss the wcha😭

  7. That Gopher team was loaded with talent as 10 players on that roster played in the NHL. Awesome that they beat North Dakota that way. Not so awesome that they could not finish the job against Union.
