a lot of fake news AP still has his no trade clause that never goes away and he has mentioned a lot of times recently that he would never waive it. On the surface it would be great if he would but that would never happen. The NYR lost because they couldn't keep the puck out of the net plain and simple. Here defensive intensity just wasn't there they never as a group wanted to give of the bodies to make it happen they never played a slow down game because they simply don't have the team speed too keep up with the devils.
Trading Panarin for futures is basically announcing that the Rangers enter a rebuild/retool, which would make the current administration lose their job and suicide the current excellent chances the Rangers got for the playoffs.
1/10 chance of something like that happening (if the Rangers dont look like making the playoffs at the deadline, but so much has to happen for that to be a possibility). It might not be Panarin thats get moved.
