"He holds the WR in the men's 1500m. " Really? In the men's 1500m? What is the f*?&%$ng point here?
I wonder if the pacers get additional bonus as well if the runner achieve the world record. I hope they do.
I think it’s safe to say he was far less than 100% in the WC. How much longer will 3:26 stand or is it just too short for him? I think it might be going down.
Legend at 22 – And he has just begun his hunt for ALL track records possible.
You obviously put a lot of work and research into these videos. We track fans really do appreciate it, sir. Keep up the good work.🙏
what with all the white people with ugly tattoos all of a sudden?
This is a major achievement congratulations
nobody cares about the 2000m tbf and what a complete jerk the guy has been lately, that British guy ate him alive mentally.. in the worlds 🙂 That track, wow, so fast, maybe they will have a moving track next 🙂
Until next time…. what?
These records are bound to be broken. Look at the footwear today
El G would have run 3.40 in Jakob's fancy spikes.
To be fair El Guerrouj didnt have pacers..
Congratulations etc. but 2,000m is a joke distance. I think we need to remember that.
That track record of the Moroccan still look stronger if you take into account, this specifically built track and the fact that running technology has improved considerably in 20 years, Take nothing away from Ingebritsen though he was a class above his competition in this event 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
The more famous Ingebrigsten has become the more tattoos he has acquired.
Maybe he can beat the 3000m record
Metric, please. Use the normal system
Man this guy really loves to hear himself talk
Insane think about it world champion 5000 not feeling fresh.Englishman forget winning 1500 meters in this form ,Jakob is going to win many more tittles in the future 🎉
I've never seen a channel have more of a hard-on for a single person then TRP has for this man. 😂
115 288ème vue, 3018ème like et 421ème com, Yo 🥰😁. Il y a 20h
The record is great, but your math is not: 85 degrees F is 29.5 Celsius. To be more exact 29.44.
Wirtual really can't get enough of speedrunning huh
I love his spirit 💛, Jakob is the best of the best 👌 👍
Kudos to Cheruiyot too. Those times are no joke.
Incredible how easy he makes it look.
He is still 22 years old. How many medals and world records will he have by age 25?
Richard Maclaren, where are you?
Sore looser makes up excuse that he was ill for world champs then breaks world record
HEG is the current record holder, but the true middle distance GOAT is Lord Sebastian Coe. He is the only person to hold the 800, 1K, 1500, and mile records at the same time. Coe was a unicorn in that he had sprinter speed (45 flat 400, maybe faster) in a marathoner's body (5-9 [1,75m] and 119 [54kg]).
Good to see that old doping record beat.
Clearly a stupid move for track sports. Now let's make a world record of 2500 meters and why not 1250 or 1750 or 2250………
Seeing someone run faster than 3.43.13 in the mile is hard to imagine, but he might actually do it. If Jakob can't take the 1500 or the mile I believe those records will continue to stand for a very long time.
Time for the mile to go down👌
EL Guerrouj the legend . congratulations to Jakob
Really, it means 3'25" in 1.500 m. The equivalence for his times in 2 miles, and 2.000 m .
In other news, soon to be 18 yr. old Norwegian Andreas Halversen broke Jakob's U20 3000 m Norwegian record by some six seconds (7:47). Seem to be quite a few Scandinavian runners with promising talent these days.
Roids?
We didn't need the commentary which spoiled it for me
Tracks, Shoes, Science ALL FASTER now, and EL G didn't have the LIGHTS, or these precise pacemakers.
MILE STAYS!!!
3:44 for ING.
Do the lights on the side of the track follow the pace of the WR?
Lights should be illegal!
You captured an impressive amount of information, coverage, and footage in a short overall comprehensive running video. Thanks!
Выкладывается на все 100 процентов и на грани возможностей организма.
Да хранит тебя твой инстинг сохранения ,не пренебрегай им.
Just how many different distances there are, though? 1500, 1600, 2000, … I wouldn't expect all of these to be ran in the same event considering how similar distance it is, am I right? The less frequent a race is, the easier it is for a world record to stay undefeated. It's also why Olympic records are often a lot worse than world records in the same sport. If some athlete reaches their top form two years before the games and then some injuries later, the Olympic year is not the greatest and four years later he is past his prime …
Insanity!
Cannot wait for the 3500m World record next and then hopefully a National record in the 1.5mile!
