Hello Eddie I love the show I'm definitely an everyday listener. I just recently moved from Cherry valley CA to the East Coast Dallas Georgia during the off season. I'm also excited about the goaltending for this year I hope Stopley brings all the smoke like he did at the end of last season. What do you predict for wins and losses for both Talbot and Copley? What save percentage do you think they both get I'm just curious? Thanks again Eddie for all the time and effort you put into this show I've learned a lot about our team Go Kings Go.
Not to nitpick, but Kempe scored 41 goals in the regular season. Plus 5 goals in the playoffs…so technically he scored 46 goals last season.
I'm a little excited to see what rookies/young players step up and surprise people maybe force Blake into making a hard decision on a roster player
Very excited for the season this year. I think the PLD trade as much as it hurt was a good move for us. Our Defense should be better on the blue line as well.
That said, I still worry about being bullied. As a 40 year Kings fan to me this has been an issue now for a while as we chased the “smaller, faster league model”.
Fiala getting taken out with a dirty knee (watch it again, it’s bad) and nobody jumping Cogliano was infuriating.
Vegas, Edmonton, Boston any other “ playoff team” would have dogpiled a player if they did that. But not the Kings.
Arvidsson, Lizotte and Iafallo were our toughest players. And our smallest.
In the last two playoffs against Edmonton it was obvious their strategy was to beat on us and make us scared of getting hit. And it worked very well both times.
I don’t think this has been addressed.
Eddie, Please stop referring to PLD "reputation" each and every time you mention his name. He addressed it very openly in his initial post trade press conferences and it doesn't have any relevance to this current season with the Los Angeles Kings. I watch each Locked On Kings You Tube episodes until you repeat this "Tabloidy" fodder, at which time I shut it off. I am sorry to report that I get through less than 50% of the episodes. I respect the challenges of keeping content fresh through off season with a show aired several times a week…but please stick to facts and avoid the rumor, gossip, and typical fan wild speculation (re: made up trade speculation). Keep plugging, I enjoy many aspects of show and haven't given up yet. Respectfully, Randy K. (50+ yr King fan since 1971)
This is a great time for true Kings fans. I can't remember feeling so giddy.
1.I am looking forward to Kevin fiala and dubois becoming best friends and getting at least 80 points per player next season.
2. Byfield and kaliyev emerging next season as players who can achieve 50 points in a season.
3. Brandon Clark ascension into the defensive line up.
4. Bold prediction: Alex turcotte staying healthy and forcing his way into the lineup
