Anyone know if Reichel can play RW as effectively as LW?

I was watching this video from Elite Prospects, who are optimistic on Reichel matching well with Bedard:

I’ve had the same thought for awhile now but figured Hall, who definitely should stay on LW, might throw a wrench in that possibility at least for a season or two. However, in watching these highlights I am noticing how much goddamn offense Reichel is always creating from the right side rather than the left lol

Seems like with his skillset/handedness he should be able to adapt to the right side and maybe we just say fuck it and roll Hall-Bedard-Reichel as the top line, which could be electric unless Hall shows the same chemistry problems with Bedard as he did with McDavid, though it may hamper Reichel’s defensive play a bit with his stick now facing into the middle of the ice instead of the boards if he’s moved to RW. Not an impossible change, but one he would have to adapt to.

Thoughts? Anyone know if Lukas has had experience on RW or if this is something the Hawks may be considering? I guess we’ll know more once training camp gets rolling soon lol

I mostly assume that wingers can play on either side well as long as they get enough practice there. They’re not that different. I hope that they run with Hall-Bedard-Reichel, that would be best for both Bedard and Reichel’s development

I’ve long been curious if he could play RW. I’ve followed his play since he was drafted and have not seen him lined up, in a game at any level, at RW.
