Not a bit surprised Babcock’s in the news for some dumb reason. Columbus can’t stop getting in their own way hence their irrelevance again.
Oilers can say all the right stuff as much as they want.
Until they prove on the ice that their D, Goaltending and depth scoring is a LOT better, it’s pointless talk.
I don't know about the rookie games, I do remember in a Leaf practice one player being concussed after being laid out by another Leaf wannabe. It looked pretty serious to me.
It was Nolan Dillingham who just laid out a Leaf second round draft pick in a development camp scrimmage

Really hope Pavel Dorofeyev gets a chance in Vegas this season. Had 7 goals 2 assists in 18 games. Comtois had 9 goals 10 assists in 64 games. Maybe Comtois would do better in Vegas but Dorofeyev looks promising

Shannon is right, the young stars classic won't have to much bearing on who makes the the parent club. But, as I have stated before on this channel, I will be glued to the tournament because it is so much fun. Also gives a body a chance to see what kind of prospects each of the 4 teams has and compare.

What you do away from the rink though does affect their play on the ice.
Being put on the spot by the head coach is going a little far.
Team Sports Psychologist would seem a little more reasonable.

The rookie tournaments are pretty big for the border line prospects and invitees to see if they're going to be invited to the NHL training camp.
Great news for leafs fans like me there's 1 less team in the Eastern conference this year with Columbus hiring mike Babcock any chance they had of being a surprise team is now gone. What a disaster that organization has become Babcock might be mentally ill how is he expected to win nhl games
