Im not ready to give up on UPL. Levi hasnt proved anything in the NHL yet… But, I'd be satisfied moving forward w Levi and UPL. I like developing talent from within and it seems to be going well since Mr Granato and KA have taken over.
I would argue your point about UPL winning games because the Sabres score a lot …. also means his save% and goals against average suffer because he plays on 1 of the most offensive and least defensive teams in the league.
Thats a difficult situation for a young goalie to put up great stats, or any goalie for that matter.
So many question marks in goal. Let's hope the picture becomes clearer early in the season and we don't have to suffer a brutal slow death 😮

Only goalie worth trading for is Saros. Demko was almost as bad at Comrie in Goals saved above expected and Gibson is horrible.
The Demko idea isn’t bad. It would depend on what we’d give up for him.

Adams improved the D with Clifton & Erik Johnson this off season and there will most likely be more emphasis on D zone coverage this season so this to me says that Adams and Granato are confident in going with Levi and UPL in net this season .
UPL has the skills but consistency has been a problem since his start with the Amerks.. Agree about Demko, Thanks Joe
Can't expect a goalie to do decent when you have dmen like Bryson and lybushkin even Levi struggled a lil bit on his end of the season run
