    Should have been banned from the league after the hit on Hossa. The NHL needs to do a better job of cracking down on this nonsense that gives hockey a bad name

    Hossa, Stoll, Silfverberg……….What's Rafi trying to do? Does he stuff these hits and put them above his mantle piece. I really believe this guy is insane. Get rid of him.

    this is the worst suspension ever just because raffi has a bad reputation they give him a 41 game suspension on a hit that a lot of scott stevens hits were like

    that hit wasn't even bad. most shoulder to shoulder hits have a higher chance of injury. if that guy didn't act like his head was cut off then he wouldn't be out for so long

    I read somewhere that the NHL now makes all hits to the head illegal. Is that correct?

    Before I read that, i wasn't sure why this was considered blindside (cause I thought that was the rule) but if it's true, now I see why they suspended him. Plus the fact that he went out of his way to hit the guy in the head.

    A hitting hockey player should always have a "plan b" and avoiding the contact totally if the opponent gets rid of the puck or/and get his head down. Torres seems to be a player that hits too often without having the plan b n his.head. I think that makes unprofessional and dangerous player and in my opinion sets his whole status as a nhl player in doubt. I would kick him totally out of Hockey too

    I was expecting something hard to watch.. But this was a clean hit. Suspension must have been a PR move. Torres was gliding, didn't leave his feet, and he made contact, with his shoulder, on the guy with the puck.
