He was looking for naughty photo's of Kylie Jenner thought he was related to her!
Your entire presentation is not only false, but based in gossip. Jenner and Babcock have flatly denied this whole report. Babcock and Jenner should sue "Spittin' Cjicklets" and they should sue the pants off you. How would you feel if someone did a 10 minute Youtube video falsely assailing your chatacter?
Phones are personal and private for most people. Of course the players can say no but then what will the consequences be? Will they be benched or sent to the minors for getting on Babcock's bad side? He's done that in the past. It's not about the phone it's a power trip. This could be just the beginning.
Who has more credentials here? The YouTube channel guy or Mike Babcock?
A couple of thoughts:
1. Babcock is innocent until proven guilty!!!
2. If he asked the player for his phone to look at his photos the player can say NO!!!!! That's what I would do!!!! These players are grown men and can stand up for themselves. Just say no!!! Babcock isn't their boss!!!! He's the coach. Just tell him to mind his own business and that it's not appropriate or relevant in getting to know his players by scoping out everyone's phone pics.
3. I'm not putting a lot of stock in anything "Biz-Nasty" and that crew have to say on Spittin Chicklets… especially some "unnamed" source. That's crap and Bizz should not be putting that out there.
4. Yes….Babcock has a bizarre history BUT geesh….does he not deserve the benefit of the doubt for this really petty accusation??? Let's see how it plays out and get the facts before throwing him under the bus and once the facts are out then CBJ management can decide how serious it is and what direction they want to go in.
5. You are spot on Mike….today's game and the players and coaches are very different from past eras in the NHL. I can't think of many players today who would survive the original 6 era or the early expansion era. Can you imagine McDavid, Crosby, MacKinnon, Makar, Pettersson, etc etc playing against the Broad Street Bullies from Philly or the Bruins or Habs from those days???? Those players wouldn't have lasted a week in the league….I guarantee it….going up against guys like Dave "the Hammer" Schultz, Terry O'Reilly, Pierre Bouchard, Tiger Williams, John Ferguson, etc etc….those guys feasted on the so called super star players. They didn't think twice about laying out a star any chance they could. Today's players seem to have this sense of entitlement and the coaches have to tiptoe around them being careful not to offend them and these stars think that nobody should be able to touch them on the ice. The above enforcers of the past would have made mince meat out of today's players and wouldn't have lost a wink of sleep over it. It's a whole new world in the NHL these days.
Dump him and ban him from the NHL , the league , Blue Jackets donāt need this mess to deal with . Itās too distracting.
so much context not present. Could literally just be Babcock trying to be a good guy and learn about his players. Were the players annoyed by this? Were they forced to do it? Did Babcock actually forcibly request players to show them their phone? Or did players agree and think it was a fun idea? If the players thought they had personal photos they didn't want to share were they not able to say no? This is just clickbait at this point. Need more details.

Crazy how everybody here is already condemning babcock for this thing that allegedly happened, because now jenner and babcock both came out to refute these claims and said they were just sharing family photos.

I'd tell him no and immediately go to someone high up in the organization to save my own ass. He has no right to go through a players personal pictures on his phone. I always respected Babcock as a very accomplished NHL coach, but if this is true he's probably burning his last bridge. His career will officially be over. I agree with a hard ass coach and I believe there's still a place in the league for it and some players need their chain jerked, but this here is very weird š¤

Problem with a fired coach getting a rep for bullying..it puts it out there..and a rehire down the road..pretty much ensures the negative reputation takes on a life of its own..whether valid or not in the present..itās a tainted dynamic.
