Im not sure why it hasnt gotten more press, but Bedard is actually pretty short.
My son met him this summer while he was doing his summer skating. My son is 12 and was measured the day before at the doctors office as 5’6″. We got a picture of them together and he is barely taller than him. I would say 5’8″ is probably right.
I know in todays NHL small guys can be effective, Im just shocked I havent heard anything from the media about his size.
