VINNIE JONES BRIAN CLOUGH FUNNY STORY

  1. Vinnie Jones was a proper mad man midfielder loved seeing him play. I wasn't a Wimbledon fan but went Goodison Park in the Wimbledon end in the early 90's last day of season when Everton were gonna get relegated. So lucky to stay up Wimbledon won the game apart from a couple of linesman outrageous decisions bribery or incompetounesness just atrocious officials. But the highlight of the day was Jones doing a proper WWE clothesline on some Everton midfielder just stuck his arm out and smashed him down me and my mate were pissing ourselves

  2. What Clough achieved at Forest has never been truly recognised…people think that football was invented in 1992 with the premier league.

  3. They may have been just a few too many years apart…but omg it would be amazing to hear a Cloughie/Fergie story…they definitely overlapped – especially when Keane moved to Man U…but maybe Cloughie had mellowed a little by then…and maybe Fergie wasn't quite as aggressive as he was in his heyday. I don't know…but I'd love to know!

  4. I actually saw Cloughie play (yes, I'm that old) when he played for Boro. They came down to Rotherham and smashed us 4 nil. Cloughie was an absolute beast….scared of nothing….into everything…..reminded me later on of Alan Shearer – no second guessing, just bang into the back of the net…..he weren't that bad as a manager, either ……

  5. I always held Brian clough in high regard,in 1989 when he started clumping his own fans for invading the pitch that regard was elevated even more so,a man who suffered no fools.

  6. Someone get the raconteur a tissue. He’s like an eight year old sniffing while speaking.

  7. Remember the funny story Brian clough was paid to tell by the sun newspaper.
The one in which he stated LFC fans stole from the pockets of the dead and urinated on dead bodies.
What a funny alcoholic sausage on the grill nose he was.
Funniest thing of about Brian is he died in sins.

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth
Where the fire can not be quenched
    And the worm dieth not.

Now he’s just a burning worm
    Hilarious Brian .
