  1. Lilly has gotten stronger and has made fewer mistakes each year. I'm looking forward to a break-out year. Good analysis

  2. Honestly the chance for Liljgren to crack the top 4 left when they signed Klingberg.
Treliving obviously isnt done here. Barring an injury. He has to make another move to become cap compliant. You go down the list of players that it could be that would give the Leafs the neccisary room they would need and theres only 2-3 guys . No theyre not moving Brodie. No theyre not moving Nylander. UNLESS THEY CAN GET BACK A GUY LIKE Konecny.
So as your looking at the leafs defence core. Treliving is all about the big guys ,, hes a brian burke type guy. Look at the rest of the Defensive positions. Where else could they upgrade in that area? Gio is the only one and he already brings tougness and blocked shots. So that 6D RHD spot is the only spot that they can really upgrade to bring in a guy that can bring that to the team. I personally think there will be an upgrade to Timmins ub he 7D spot that can bring Physicality Liljgren is becoming a decent defencman but I just dont think hes exactly what the leafs need. perhaps for the regular season but not the playoffs. Theres a reason they have been so unsuccessful in the playoffs… because theyve been running guys out there like Morfan Reilly,Timothy Liljgren. Rasmus Sandin. Jake Gardiner, etc etc. Focused solely on the puck moving aspect and almost ignoring the physical aspect of the game that comes out in the playoffs.

Look no further then the firt time they break past the first round… is the year they go out and load up on physical guys… I just dont see Lily beng the pieve they need in that 6D spot.

  3. I like Liligren and all but i honestly prefer Connor Timmins and Simon.Benoit more then Liligren. Both Benoit and Timmins are Bigger and more physical. I didnt like the signing of Klingberg in the least, Sorry just my feel. I had my 6 as such
    Rielly Broadie
    Klingberg McCabe
    Timmins Giodano
    Benoit
I was thinking personally Liligren being in a trade with Nylander or in a separate trade perhaps?

Timmins has upside as well offensively. Ill be a small.sample in Toronto but he played very well.
    Just my thought Thank you
    and Be well
