After the way the playoffs ended I lost all hope. When GG was canned and Laviolette was named the new coach I did an eye roll. Not sure if it’s just dog days of summer hopefulness but I’m starting to really have faith in the team and high hopes for Laviolette. I may be an eternal pessimist in life, but I will always find hope in the Rangers

On the other hand we fired a coach that had two 100+ point seasons for a coach that couldn’t make the playoffs last year with Ovechkin in his lineup.
