These games are 1000% meaningless….
when we over hype prospects and then we see them there is lunch bag let down at times. I think development takes time I would have loved loved to see Slaf in this tournament and really see him.
happy with Beck, Miller Dobes Trudeau
Again…. what makes me Spit chiclets……………… Shane wright played 70 games last year… NHL AHL OHL WORLD JUNIOR…. he played the summer showcase now is in development camp….
Slaf—- Nothing
Give him a freakin break , Mailloux had a very good game today , you guys are not professional , your opinion is just that a opinion, it has no value , your having a meltdown over one game , omg
own Beck is miles ahead of Slaf and is no question one of the very best……. Roy knows how to find ICE
Not every prospect hits….alot of these prospects will be used as trade bait to get that high end FWD talent
they don't have hands.. their puck control, placment, decision making is awful
Mailloux backward skating is insane on the blue line , i can see why some analyst really like him
Ever wonder why Juraj wasn’t send to Laval. The coaching yesterday showed why. Logan never ever played that style he was lost why? This is not the player from theOHL playoffs that out score beck. Logan doesn’t allow players to circle him. Perhaps nerve perhaps coaching. Give Logan time
these game let the players know it is faster heavier and quicker than they are used to and that the nhl is even faster quicker and heavier. now they began to see what comming .
To me, the one that is the closest to the NHL is Joshua Roy, he does all the little things a future NHL player should do, great smarts, very good along the boards, and a leathal shot, he also improved his skating and defensive play a lot.
his first game playing against something other than junior. Give the kid a break.
Correct, none of the prospects project to be better than the current top 7, and I include Slaf & RHP in the top 7. Beck is a lock for the 8th. That means you only have 4 spots open (5 if Monahan is traded), and you want a big 4th line right which none of the prospects have the profile for. So you only have 2 openings for prospects. And you have to think that Hughes is going to eventually overpay for a scoring free agent forward. So there is even less room. So, yes, the prospect pool is good but not great, and the top 6 might turn out to not be enough to really compete. It's a challenge.
Comon guys…. don't be like TDS and TSN. These guys didn't even get much practice not get the time to build chemistry and you are already sounding like you are panicking lol
Mailloux Will spend at least a season in Laval
Top forward talent was the weakness of the Habs draft pool (non-nhl). I think they will address that issue at worst they will package trade a defenseman to fix this issue
Mailloue brutal defensively i thnk he got hyped up a little much
HABS prospects looked out of sorts and confused. Sabers prospects looked prepared and ready.
Top Forward prospect missing? Gee. Wondering who was available at 5th overall in the 2023 draft?
Wawa looks great.
Simoneau was a surprise standout.
Beck is the closest to being nhl ready , his faceoffs wins alone are good enough to earn him a spot Overall it's disappointing. I think we lack a lot of depth on fowards.
waite it's to early!let' s them play
I not sure your correct about habs are one of top young hockey pool
Some have them ranked 10th
not like ortiz has high potential to play ahl, he is a echl guy careers, he cant produce vs ahlers and buffalo had 6 or 7. not really mailloux fault even he lacks a bit in defense. he was better with struble… ortiz is out in a few years lol
