I'm not confident Konecny would be content with a 3rd line role and not a fan of Pinto for Laughton either as that worses their cap situation without an upgrade in the roster.

Your commentary about the Babcock situation in Columbus has been spot on..I’ve agreed with all your points. I do not understand either why they would’ve hired Babcock, I agree it just did not make sense to me from the very beginning. I think Jarmo’s time in Columbus is over and they need to move from him too

Why not throw a big package to the Flyers for Carter Hart? I'm not sold on Korpisalo as the main starter. Konency as a 3rd liner? Don't think so. They didn't sign Tarasenko for 5M to play 3rd line minutes either. Sens need a real goalie. They always seem to be settling for average ones like Talbot or Korpisalo.
