    Bertuzzi most likely will play on the top line with Matthew's and Mitch but I also could see him fitting in very well with JT and Willy Put Domi or Knies on the top line looks dangerous to me

    We all know heā€™s capable of scoring 30 goals on a bad team so assuming he can do it again on a offensive juggernaut should be a piece of cake if he can play atleast 70 games but Iā€™ll predict 20-25 goals and 70-75 points if he plays his part as a pest

    I agree with Tree that Bertuzzi brings bite (snot) to his game. Barring injury, he'll out-score Bunting while playing with more 'jam'. Sobering fact, Bunts had 63 pts in 21/22 while playing for 950K. Bertuzzi is at 5x that number, so here's hoping he has a career year of 70+ pts playing top 6 mins. The downside is he does not play solid D, so playing him with Nylander, a guy who mails it in on D is probably unwise.

    Maybe Keefe can get Bertuzzi to buy in to being a more solid 2 way winger. If he can play decent D, he'll be worth the 5.5M. My knock on Bill is, he doesn't back-check well, doesn't hit much considering he's 205 lbs & is generally a liability in the D-zone, compared to other Leaf forwards. When he's 'on' he is an offensive force & an excellent transporter of the puck, so Keefe tolerates his lazy D. I will admit Keefe has managed to get him to improve his D-play from when Keefe took over from Badcock in Nov 2019.

    Todd Bertuzi is amazing … he'll stay healthy if he gets the coverage he needs from the other buds …

    We only got him because no one was willing to roll the dice on a longer contract on a guy who has never played a full season and only had 30 points last year. Not sure what to expect but hope he can be healthy is not really encouraging lol. Honestly I expect more out of Domi.
