  1. Hate him or not, Tom Wilson is playing very well. Now Caps have won 4 in a row…. wait till oshie and Kuzi return

  2. Not flashy, but a good, consistent game from the Caps. Good to see Kempny get involved on the scoring. He’ll need to continue to be good on offense and defense to keep up with the Caps expectations. Tom Wilson is proving that the Caps weren’t crazy signing him to that contract and making the NHL disciplinarians look like fools. The Wings are struggling this season, and it doesn’t look like they’ll be able to turn it around this season, but they have the framework to a good team. Holtby played well again, in his third game, second start from injury. It looks like his consistency issues from earlier this season may be behind him. The one thing the Caps should be concerned about is their volume of shooting. 20 shots may do it against the wings but they’re going to need to find a way to create more opportunities against cup contenders.

  3. No Oshie, no Kuznetsov, and we are winning 4 games straight? Someone please pinch me or give a gentle slap, so I know I'm not dreaming.

  4. And twenty years after the Caps and Wings met in the Stanley Cup, they duked it out again, with one winning four in a row.
