They Looked A LOT Better..

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the rookie showcase game yesterday between the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins. The Canadiens not only win this game, but they look MUCH better compared to their game against the Buffalo Sabres the night before. Logan Mailloux looked awesome, Joshua Roy was the best forward on the ice, Jan Mysak, Filip Mesar, everybody looked more noticeable in game#2.

  1. I did not get to see this beauty.
Was Montreal just looking better or did we play a weaker prospect team?
I heard a bug difference for Mailloux was his D partner.
Also, can I pls hear more about Quentin?

  2. Actually a fun game to watch. Logan M was excellent. Roy was excellent. Miller was excellent. The rest were pretty solid overall. And Simoneau has to find a way in our lineup. Love this kid. And I don't believe for a second his height is an issue in real terms. He's built exactly like Yvan Cournoyer was. They're both 5'7" 180lbs. And lets not forget, no one could budge The Roadrunner. Simoneau is just such a tenacious player. Tough to play against. I can see him being a handful in the playoffs based on his style. And a pest on top of that. Just felt he deserves a shout-out.

  3. Boston has weak prospect pool though, that lesson with buffalo is that our forward products are a way overhyped. I still say other then owen beck
No one else is close to NHL ready.

  4. this is going so well, and we might even have another top 5 to add. this is going to translate to long term success.
    from all languages!

  5. I would love to see a line of Caufield-Dach-Roy at the start of the camp.. He is obviously our most NHL ready prospect so he need a real chance to crack the top 6! He makes me think of Suzuki a little bit so he would be a really good fit with those 2!

  6. Savard-Matheson – Barron-Kovacevic-Weidman-Lindstrom- Mailloux-Reinbacher Now which are the best 4 RH defensemen?

  7. They were playing against a slower less formidable prospect team. In the two games I don't see anyone "NHL ready" like I did last year with Xhekaj and Guhle yet it's an early assessment.

  8. Devastated by the Buffalo game. I now have hope in the rebuild again. Damn, I'm becoming as fragile as a Leafs fan. Sports will kill ya'.
