  1. Hes gonna be a bust, hell never live up to the hype, hell be gready hell ask to be the highest paid player, youll never be able to surround him with teammates thatll elevate the team as a whole, hell be cocky and do something to get seriously hurt. Hell throw fits when things dont go his away and the teams losing. I wouldn't be surprised if in 6 7 years from now is playing in the minors or even overseas

  2. He does this thing where he just fires a piss missile off the heel of his stick while he's on his inside edges. I don't know anyone that can do that at the moment. Maybe peak Crosby.

It just show how much confidence this kid has in his shot and skating.

  3. Lol, do you even remember Elias Pettersson and Kristian Vesalainen draft years in their dev tourneys. Doesn't mean shit. Anyways, probably he will be one of greatest.

  4. i just hope this kid can stay healthy. So many players in the past get robbed of their gift due to some dirty hit.

  5. I'm a big Blackhawks fan. Before this game I was thinking somewhere around Kane's rookie totals, 72pts (21goals). Kane was dropped into a super talented young team. For Bedard, I was thinking around 72pts and 28 goals. Now I'm thinking around 72 pts and 32 goals.

  6. One thing that will absolutely translate to the NHL is his awareness. I love that hes always moving, he's always finding open ice and he created countless opportunities all game. At the NHL level he wont be creating every shift but he can still make a sick play every period. That really isnt too much considering his talent.

  7. He's pretty small and slight, and he won't get that much room in regular season, trust me. If he gets hit hard a few times it will slow him down. But definitely awesome talent.

  8. I used to be a goalie on a championship team. Its easy to see how Bedard does it, he has a super accurate shot and he disguises his release so the goalie cant read it. Wrist shots are the most difficult to read because there is no wind up to give the goalie a split second to get set. On the last two goals, the goalie might have had a better chance by moving out to cut down the angle.

  9. This guy does good against teams filled with players who will never play an nhl game, but the nhl is a whole other beast and i watched this guy get completely shut down in the WJC finals game which is the biggest game in the tournament and you can see him get all frustrated and you could see it was affecting his game. im curious to see what he does against teams loaded with 200+ pound real nhl players

  10. He is certainly special, keep in mind, playing against some non drafted players, and a bunch of prospects that just played a full 60 the night before.

  11. The tendy wasnt very good, and many other teams have shown some other players doing same, 10-9 games etc

  12. Can’t wait for the season to start people are overhyping this guy wayyyy to much. Yeah he’ll be unreal but some people just want anyone to be better then mcdavid cause they’re haters. I don’t see this guy being better then mcdavid at any point in his career and once this guy plays against the big boys people will see that.

  13. First goal, he does a Matthews toe drag release with insane timing and precision, the second goal is the one who impresses me the most, he's one of the rare player I see facing the net from all angle and gliding on his left with full control of the puck, plus once again the insane precise shot. Third one, he uses the same pattern has Overchkin for the 3rd goal to create space. The kid has done his homework you can easily tell, he's got the weapons of 2 of the best goal scorers in the NHL already and just wait until he shows more.

  14. Sounds like defenders are just going to commit to the check to take him off the body not try and block the shot

  15. This is like watching a school PT session, there are the gifted ones who excel at any sport and the rest who just try to avoid breaking a sweat so they don't need to take a shower.

  16. Connor Bedard's totals across WJC, WHL, & WHL Playoffs last season:

    71 Games
    — 90 Goals
    — 96 Assists
    — 186 Points
    — 2.62 pts/game (215pt/82game pace)
    — 67 Even Strength Goals
    — 18 PPG
    — 5 SHG
    — +61
    — 442 Shots
    — 53.5% FO%

He's dominated at every level except for the NHL. Can't wait to see how he performs against teams like Carolina, Vegas, and New York that are gonna do everything they can to try to shut him down entirely.

  17. the first and 3rd goal, okay they give him a good spot to shot. But on the 2nd, they push him outside of the dangerous zone, but he manage to score anyway… I love that guy, we need him at Montreal. We can trade all the team and the Bell Center for him

  18. i find it odd theres people praying on a kid who just turned 18 downfall bc hes a chicago blackhawk. As a hawks fan i cant wait to be the villian for the next 15 years

  19. It is very impressive but one big hit and he's done. Calling it now. He's going to get rocked and that confidence will be out the window. Welcome to the NHL.

  20. I love how there's 100 people who have made the same video with the same clips. Sad.

  21. I think about 80-90 points. Though, if he ended up with 110 I wouldn't entirely be shocked! Depends on his teammates.
