Not good for the kraken. McCann has been a bright spot on a team with a troubled launch and has been having himself a career year around a less talented team. Career high goals, career high Gp60 and 2nd best Pp60. His numbers don't just pace with more ice time and responsibility he has with the Kraken, he's been getting better the more play time he gets. If he's not on the roster next year, Kraken fans should run stone face francis out of town.
Is it Nashville or Buffalo that has Philadelphia's first round pick this year? And is it lottery protected?
DeAngelo being out a month hurts. Will hurt the defense, as well as the 1st PP unit. But, the Canes have lots of depth, so not that worried.

DeAngelo having a great season with 40 pts in 43 games. People were crapping on a young man needing time to mature. I hope his recovery goes well.
Canes do not need to panic and make a dumb knee jerk reaction trade. Chatfield has been called up. He has played solid when called up this season. Both Tony D and Smith will be back for the playoffs. If any moves are made it needs to be to add toughness not skill. The Canes have all the skill they need but lack toughness!
