We are back for another Habs Weekly Recap Show. Tonight, we review the performance of Habs Prospects at the Rookie Camp in Buffalo.
Friday night, the Habs lost 6-3 against the Sabres and yesterday they rebound with a “W” 4-1 over the Bruinns Prospects team.
Then, they comment about the Habs News and some highlights during the last few days and then they preview the upcoming week. Don’t forget the main camp starts at the end of the week with some physical test for each player.
Finally, they do their Q & A session and the Frenchy Quiz at the end of the show.

NAHL – Besides prospects games, I was keeping an eye on the NAHL showcase Saturday
Mostly Eastern Division and Midwest, with the Alaska teams
Northeast Generals out of Massachusetts took 1st in the Eastern division
Followed by #2 Maine Nordiques
#3 Maryland Black Bears #4 Rochester Jr Americans (New York)
Alaska has 3 teams in the Midwest division.
1) Janesville Jets out of Wisconsin took first,
2nd Anchorage, Alaska
One of the local teams I follow came in
#3 Kenai River Brown Bears – Kenai Peninsula Alaska
our hotshot kid, Marko Giourof got a hat trick
Fairbanks, Alaska team only won 1 game. Nobody wants to live up there & play hockey in the dark.
I also think the aurora borealis electro magnetic fields change people's physiology. The northern lights directly above, give me headaches.
I don't know if you are familiar with any of these players, you probably remember the teams.

With all the revenues and gambling, hockey has become a business – I like to go back to good old-fashioned local cheap hockey. Watching athletes develop – can be a bit more exciting, let's predictable – as you know.
So there's my report from the NAHL showcase weekend.
I really don't know much about it – started getting into it a few years ago when I was looking for a local hockey team to follow… the Brown Bears.
I know it doesn't involve Canadian teams, but you've got at least one Montreal kid in New York, who comes from Hab-land!
